hats.
I’ve had a Juno beanie (it was a promotional item that I got when I bought the collector’s edition of the classic Ellen Page film “Juno”) for some years. It didn’t sell on ebay, I don’t know why. And I didn’t know anybody back in CA who I felt right about giving the hat to.
I met a girl out here who likes beanies, and the little light bulb above my head went *ding* and I gave it to her, and she is very happy with it. I am glad I finally found the right person to give it to.
Another hat..
I have, during the process of moving from one house to another, been bumping my head a lot, especially on the rear hatch door of my mom’s Honda Pilot. Ouch.
I have a completely bald head most of the time.. it is at least somewhat bald all the time, and most of the time, I shave it completely bald.
Bruises show up on bald heads!
I spotted an old, crushed corduroy hat of my dad’s that he almost never wears. It’s a small fedora.. good and thick. I put that on.
Hats almost never feel comfortable to me, but this one did.
I put it on so that I would not bruise my head any longer. I didn’t bump my head much at all the rest of the day, but still was happy to have the hat on.
I might look silly wearing it, but I like it.
I would have worn it around years ago.. my dad probably bought it back in the ’80’s, but my mom, a long time ago, said that it looked to small on me, and I believed her.
Maybe it does look too small on me.. I will ask some female friends..
But even if this is the case.. I like the hat, and will continue to wear it.
It has character.
Nice to bless someone with a hat, and nice to be blessed with a hat owned by someone else.
