Sometimes I am quite glad about not being affiliated with either major American political party. Yes, being unaffiliated can be lonely at times, but overall I feel good being neither a Democrat nor a Republican. Congress recently went on vacation.. without solving anything. Yet again. Maybe our congress-persons are joining Obama on his millionth tour of Hawaiian golf courses.

The Republican Party and the Democratic party..

As Shakespeare wrote, “A pox on both their houses.”

If the Bard were alive today, he might write, “A pox on the House.. and the Senate.”
