they’re not pushing flu shots this year.. at least not where I live.

Something strange I’ve just observed.

Past several  years during late fall and winter, every single drugstore in town, as well as many clinics, had very noticeable signs saying GET YOUR FLU SHOT HERE!

I’d go to the pharmacy window to get my sedative, and there’d be these dire warnings about not getting a flu shot.

I’m not seeing any of these signs and warnings this year. And I am wondering..

Was it all hype? Were the flu shots not necessary or helpful?

Or, do flu shots work, and the reason they are not being promoted is that the pharmaceutical companies did not make near enough this year?
