The Apple logo is an apple with a bite taken out of it.

Is this supposed to be a reference to the forbidden fruit that was bitten in the Garden of Eden? Is this some sign that Apple is anti-Christian?

Then I thought.. maybe it’s an Isaac Newton thing. Didn’t I see something on “Sesame Street” when I was a kid? A cartoon of Newton sitting under an apple tree, and an apple lands on his head, and he “discovers” gravity.

I just thought this stuff up on my own, but wondered if other people had thought these things too. Oh yes. I typed in “apple logo conspiracy,” and definitely got some hits.

I then headed on over to youtube, and .. yeah.. a lot of videos on this subject. I found out that an early logo, drawn up by one of Apple’s founders, does depict Isaac Newton. I got that part right.

What’s with the rainbow colors of the earlier logo? Some folks might assume this is a pro-gay statement. I don’t know when the gay rights movement adopted the rainbow as their symbol, and I haven’t read that the Apple guys chose the rainbow colors to send a pro-gay message, so I can’t comment on that one.

I’ve read that the rainbow color scheme is because of a prism. A prism separates light into various colors, or something like that. Newton worked with prisms.

Ok, so I’d already thought of the apple logo as possibly being an anti-Christian symbol, and thought of Newton. I had not thought of some other things.  Some videos on youtube mention an Illuminati connection, something to do with the masons, and even a subliminal message about aliens.

My take on all this?

I think the guys who started apple had a sense of humor. Yes, they probably chose the symbol for both the garden of Eden reference and Newton, but weren’t serious about being Satanists, even if they did sell their computers for $666.66. I think they were having a laugh.

I’ve done a bit of research into this already, but haven’t found a definitive answer yet. Anyway.. these videos should play fine, but don’t take them too seriously..
