Recently, I started going to a cafe and nightspot in downtown Boise called The Crux. One of the cool things about this place is the displays of work by local artists. There is a big art scene here in Boise, which is really great.The Crux is one of many many places where local art can be seen.
My favorite artist right now whose works are hanging on the walls of The Crux is Storie Grubb. I’ve never seen paintings quite like these. Sometimes I just stand and stare at them for awhile. I will now, with the artist’s permission, share some of them with you.
