a creative romantic comedy worth watching.

“Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” is an unusual, and, overall, a rather good romantic comedy. More bittersweet than funny, but I liked it very much. It also made me think quite a bit about my life. Rated R for lots of profanity.. some quite raunchy moments and dialog.. but no heavy nudity or violence. Steve Carell plays a sad, lost character like he has portrayed in some other films. He does this well. Keira Knightley is her usual beautiful and incredibly charming self. (She’s one of my favorite actresses). The film has a great script, solid acting, cameos from three people who have shown up in my favorite TV program, “Community,” and is at times lovely and heart-warming. It is well-wroth watching. I hope you like it.
