This is an owl I took care of several years ago at a wildlife rehabilitation center. As I passed by his cage, I noticed him staring up at me through the little hole in the wall we use to put the cleaning hose through. I’ve never seen any animal do this. The little owl had a lot of personality. He was eventually released back into his natural habitat in rural California.
