tonight’s music selection.. little stevie wonder!

I’ve been doing music posts at night on facebook for awhile now. Since I write about music a lot on this blog, I figured I’d post my nocturnal music selections here too. I like a lot of variety!

Tonight’s music selection.. Stevie Wonder back when he was a kid. You might be wondering why the harmonica in the video looks so big. It’s not just because Stevie is small. What he is playing is called a chromatic harmonica. The harmonicas most people are familiar with are called diatonic harmonicas. It’s possible to play more notes on the chromatic harmonica. The little button on the side of the instrument moves the reed plates inside the harmonica, or something like that.. I’m not exactly sure how it works. What I am sure about is that Stevland Hardaway Morris was given the right stage name!
